As an environmental scientist from Auckland, New Zealand, I had the pleasure of staying at Anglers Lodge with my family, and what an experience it was! The family-run lodge is a hidden gem on the Coromandel Peninsula, offering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that truly catered to our needs.During our stay, we took part in a hosted tour that dropped us off at Stony Bay for a day of rock fishing along the stunning coastline. The team on the ground was incredibly helpful, ensuring our day was memorable and enjoyable. After our outdoor adventures, the clean and comfortable room provided a cozy retreat for our family. The proximity to the beach allowed us to unwind and explore the beautiful surroundings.With the nearest airport a convenient 63 km away, Anglers Lodge proved to be an ideal location for families seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this eco-resort for a memorable and family-friendly vacation experience.
